Following are the five sites that have been selected for the Florida Pilot Program. If you are able to participate in public meetings at any of these five sites, please do so. Review the documents within the Resources tab, to help you clearly understand the issue. Find out when and where meeting are being held, and attend.

St. Augustine's Proposed Ordinance - October 2011
FWC will have a meeting relating to the Anchoring and Mooring Pilot Program. Representatives from the following entities, DEP, USCG, FIND, WCIND, BOATUS, 7 Seas Cruising Association, Marine Industries Association of Florida, and National Marine Manufacturers Association will review and discuss the draft ordinances of St. Augustine, pilot program participant. This meeting of coordinated reviewers will take place on Tuesday, October 11 at 1:00 pm and is open to the public. The meeting will be located at 620 S. Meridian St. Room 272, Tallahassee, Fl 32399.

City of Stuart/Martin County

December 26, 2012 - No mooring field for Jensen Beach (Martin County) - Read it here. The Stuart County Commissoners have voted to remove the Jensen Beach mooring field project from the county's Capital Improvement Plan.

October 22, 2012 - The FWC has posted Stuart's latest proposed ordinance for public comment. Review it here. Submit your comments here. Maps of the areas affected by the proposed ordinance, can be found here. The ordinance will be posted until Midnight November 5th, 2012. It is currently scheduled for presentation at the December 5th, 2012 FWC Commission meeting, in Apalachicola.

Our finalized agenda will identify which of the previously listed participants will be in attendance.

The most recent draft of proposed ordinances for Monroe County (including the municipalities of Marathon and Key West) are now online for your perusal and comment. Please read thoroughly and let your concerns be heard. There will be a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) on April 18th where the final draft of proposed ordinances will be on the table for approval to go forward through the protocol of the FWC administered Pilot Program.
